Yeah i noticed when i set up on general setup i think it is that the mac address was wrong so corrected that. Still not able to tell it that it wants cable modem as quick setup is completely unreachable. Cables are all plugged in where they should be and all settings in windows are on automatic i can get through to the router just cannot access quick setup. Thanks for the quick reply
