Installation will depend on workload of the engineers - you'll need to check with Customer Service when you book. As a guide, I ordered the V+ box at the end of February, and asked for a Saturday installation - the first date was 10th March. Midweek it could have been done sooner, that was my choice.
Telephone - yes. No problems, assuming it's tone dial like most are now?
There are different ADSL and Cable routers. Most people on here like the wireless routers - Linksys WRT54G always gets good reviews and it's about Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£40 or so from PC World at the moment.
