Re: How do I Bit no feed ? is this not possible? feed a second TV from a cable box?

to Cable Forum

You should be able to output the RF (standard coaxial aerial lead) from the STB to a TV. You'll need to tune a channel on the TV to the STB's RF output frequency. Many people use channel 0 or 6 for that. You will only be able to watch the single channel output by the STB though (the same as you'll be able to see via the Scart lead). The STB will only decode one channel at a time.

If you want terrestrial channels 1-5 as well as the STB output, you'll have to add some form of combiner between the STB and TV to feed in your terrestrial rooftop aerial lead. The analogue passthrough that Virgin Media used to supply has been discontinued.

As for the remote control so you can change channels from the other room, there are various senders around. Just make sure the remote signalling is compatibel with the Scientific Atlanta. The remote signal types do vary from STB to STB.
