I contacted CS and they put me through to Retentions and I explained that I don't really have that exciting a TV package without Sky 1 & 2 and asked if Virgin Central could be subtitled. She got her manager to confirm, and as it's a new channel they are currently unable to broadcast subtitles, but hopefully in 12 months time when they have their content built up and compete with Sky One, subtitles should be available. In the meantime, they offered to upgrade my TV Pack to XL and add all the Sky Movie Channels 1-10 at no extra cost (in which most movies are subtitled). They wanted to keep me, because I said I'd cancel the TV and go back to Freeview (which is free).
