Re: When will they fix On Demand?

I have to agree.

VOD is becoming more and more of a selling point to have Cable (especially with the Sky Basics channels saying 'Ta, ta!').

And yet, it seems to fail over for me at the weekends. This weekend just gone:

Friday night: Completely unusable, "On Demand not available."

Saturday: More-or-less unusable, but the vast majority of TV Choice content was ASAP!

Sunday: Very slow in the early evening. Took me 10 minutes to get to a point where I could actually watch an Alias episode, and guess what? The episode (Episode 8, I think) just plays back a black screen. Great, just great.

Later that evening it actually became more usable, but having to wait for the last day of the weekend to use Cable's main selling feature isn't good enough. What's the point of Virgin buying content for VOD when we can't watch it when we want to?

I really hope someone high up in Virgin is taking note of this. Quit bragging about Virgin Central and get your VOD service working properly!!! (And yes, I have contacted faults, for all the good that did me).

I won't even mention the lack of HD movies; lack of C4 HD content; lack of History HD content, and me being overcharged for my bill again!
