I don't watch television that much, but when I do it was often Sky One. Now that I've lost it, when I do want to sit back and relax a little, I'm going through my old archive of recorded programs (including Sky One from the past - is that cheating?
) as well as a few programs I like on UK Gold and the BBC. I'm glad that I have a PVR on my computer so I've been able to build up quite a nice library of television over the years. It's not as nice as new programs, but it's better than nothing.
One thing that I've seen a lot of recently though, is that a lot of people seem to be downloading the episodes they used to watch on Sky One over the internet. I can understand, but my worry is that if lots of people do this, Virgin wont realise that a lot of people want Sky back, thus leaving the channel gone, until everyone else will either have to switch to Sky or join in the downloading :/
