Yup - like those as well; the ones I gave were just my top couple of authors, but I have about two thousand books (paperback and hardback), and I keep re-reading them (as well as buying new stuff).
I would really recommend John Scalzi (Old Man's War, Ghost Brigades, Agent to the Stars, and a few others) - like an modern Robert Heinlein (imho), without his late-life obsession with badly written sex scenes. His website is
