I am having a similar experience. If I try to go past Chns 119, 120 or 121 the box freezes and after about 5 mins I can progress. I had this problem on the first day of Virgin Media but it cleared itself and all was OK until today, it is really annoying.
I have an old PACE box which NTL would not change to allow me to take advantage of the enhanced speeds everyone else was getting because they said if it was working it could not be replaced. I feel really disgruntled as I am paying the same as charge as others.
