Can anyone give me a hand in how to get the best sound and vision connecting the following to a Yahama Av receiver

Xbox 360

DVD recorder

Sky + box

TV with just 2 scarts

I tried various, but not getting the best picture, plus getting a green line along the bottom of TV when the xbox is on.

Can anyone help. Thanks
