I'd have expected each PC to need it's own drivers, depending on the software running on the PC, i.e. 32 bit drivers on 32 bit OS, 64 bit on 64 bit OS.

Does each PC communicate to the print server individually i.e. the print server is in fact set to an IP port on each PC, or are you trying to share the printer on one PC. If the latter that might be the problem.
