but the problem with you not getting services is due to a fire in your building not NTL/Virgin. I'd expect it to take a while to be resolved. I think your expectations are unreasonable.
Monday was the first day you contacted them - you said you first saw engineers replacing burnt cables on Friday - not brilliant but perhaps they were not allowed near the cables for a few days due to safety reasons or because the fire was being investigated. Also the fault was not due to NTL/Virgin's error so I'd expect other faults elsewhere to get priority over a fire.
