Solent Installations

Hi everyone, I NOW HAVE A V+ BOX INSTALLED

The engineers turned up about 4 pm, it took about 30 mins to get it installed including having my existing box moved to my bedroom. The engineers were very friendly and polite. I got a black box with all the virgin media branding on it and the new virgin menus and epg software. The hit came through whilst the engineers were still here so they were able to give me quick demo.

First impression are that its GREAT!! Obviously haven't had much time to try it out but it seems to be working no probs and no problems with remote lag or anything (touch wood). Will report back once I've had time to play with it.

Absolutely no problems with my install so everything looks good for your install on Monday

. In answer to your question about the VIP pack i definately am considering it, the big draw is the 10mb broadband. I reckon I'm paying about Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£72 at the moment (that includes the V+ and second Box). So it would be an extra Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£13 but I not that interested in the Sky movies (I get unlimted dvd rental from Blockbuster) or sports channels (well not untill the cricket is on in the summer). Still it probably is worth it !!!!
