Re: Linksys router and DNS problems with NTL

First things first... whilst your laptop is no longer behind the router install some sort of firewall. The in-built Windows one is far from great but it's better than nothing at all.

Secondly, you should have DHCP enabled and you'll then get NTL's DNS servers automagically. If it's not enabled, switch it on. Just looking on my WRT54GL I see the following 2 DNS servers:

194.168.4.100
194.168.8.100

What DNS server is displayed in your router's config page? It's listed on the Status tab.
