I am interested why the cost from Virgin Media landline phone to Virgin Mobiles are charged at a rate higher than O2, T-Mobile, Orange and Vodafone (assuming that Virgin Mobiles come under "Others")

I would have thought that inhouse to inhouse calls would have been cheaper to encourage users to switch to the Quadplay?
