Well, the Non-Cable area broadband by Virgin Media for that package says:

This means you could actually receive up to 4 Mbps, 5 Mbps or 6 Mbps - basically anything up to 8 Mbps.
I knew when I wrote my other post that someone would complain about not getting their full speed with cable.
