And the answer to Point 1 is.....NO. The resume feature is MIA.

I used to watch half of a movie one night and the other half the next night. Now I can't do that unless I spend 10 mins fast-forwarding to the bit I want to resume from.

Does anyone know why has this feature been removed?? The old software allowed you to resume. Isn't the new software supposed to be 'improved'?

BIG backwards step, IMO.
