A decent quality fully-wired SCART cable (Monster, IXOS, etc.), with the Sky box set to output RGB SCART, should improve it (assuming the TV can take RGB over SCART...most can).

However, it may not make that much of a difference....some HD TVs (especially cheap no-name ones) are really crap at displaying Standard Definition images, & this can be even more noticeable on 32" screens & above (as most 32", 37", & even some 40" or bigger screens have the same 1366*768 native resolution that 26" screens have, so they have the same no. of pixels, they're just bigger).
