I have no idea about the rights or wrongs of Sky pulling the the plug. Sky needs the money from cable companies; viewers may leave Virgin Media's television service but Sky is not necessarily the alternative supplier. Many would stick with Virgin Media for their telephone and broadband services and would either opt for Freeview or the their analogue service, soon to be digital tv. I object to the idea of paying BT for a telephone line rental and paying another company for the calls. I have got so used to having one bill for telephone, broadband and digital tv the same as I have got used to paying one bill for gas and electricity. Let's wait and see.
