Sky won't let Ntl have Sky3 which is what gets transmitted on Freeview so you will get either Sky1 or Sky2. Sky2 is pretty much Sky1+24Hrs so if the worse that can happen, happens, then you will just get Sky1 a bit later.

Actually Sky1 is the only positive thing that Ntl can provide to make this deal attractive as you can get freeview and a phone line for 11.00/month anywhere, maybe even cheaper than £11/month.

Just think if you lobbed out for a PVR with 3 freeview tuners, about £99.00 on ebay last time I looked, what a pretty good deal you'd then be getting with a £11.00 phoneline off someone and freeview. Makes you think don't it specially as the majority of the digital channels have been showing the same old stale repeatorama rubbish for the last 10 years. New content is about as rare as rocking horse you know what.
