Well blow me, it DID work when I tried it one last time!
Steps to follow:
Unplug screen from mains
Wait 5 seconds
Plug screen into mains
Hold down
+ and
-
Hold down
Power
Let go of
Power when power LED lights up
Let go of
+ and
-, computer screen will now display
Push
Menu
Now you have the setup menu onscreen.
Use the
+ and
- buttons to move the hilighted option over AutoColor at the top of the box
Push
Menu to select that option
This fixed it for me.
