My workmate suggests it might need a new channel setting up for the video or the sky output to kill the interference. That sounded logical when he said it but now I'm not sure what he means. Can anyone explain? Am I trying to send the sky and ntl down the same channel perhaps. If thats true how do I fix that???? Please help - I wasn't popular on Sunday - now I'm the worst dad in the world!!!!!!

One more bit of info if it helps - I've just pulled out the vcr from the links and still got the interfrerence so is it a clash with the the sky box. Which is easier to cahnce - ntl box or sky box?

Sounds like your using RF cables on the sky & ntl box to view your channels, by what your saying it seems to me that the RF output on one box is interferening with the RF output on the other box.
You can change the RF output on the NTL box and i'm sure you can on the sky box aswell, the best part of the band to tune them to is between 60-69 UHF and remember you'll have to re-tune the channel on your TV to see the picture.
