Had 4 attempts this morning in BN43 (Shoreham) area. Each time managed to get customer care to put me through to the team that deal with V Boxes. First call "is available from 30th January, you can ring and book from then." Second call got the reply that "you can book from some time in February." Third call - "it is being trialled in the North and may not even be used everywhere if trial unsuccessful, you need to check website." Fourth call, I was back to "you can book from January 30th"
I did mention each time that I knew of people 4 or 5 miles away from me who had been successful getting install dates yesterday. The replies ranged from "that was done incorrectly" to "they are unlikely to get it installed as it has not rolled out there" to " no they did not, that is impossible, you are thinking of Sky HD"
When I explained I knew the difference, I was told "you obviously don't, as no bookings have been made in Southern England and it will be some time before they are!!"
Think I will give up for a few hours and try again......
My approach so far has been to be as nice and friendly as possible, are the successful bookers taking a different approach??
