erm bt charge for itemised bill. you can chose not to have an itemised bill and only have calls over 50p itemised, its not a line rental charge its for the cost of the extra printing. im glad they make people pay for it, if they didnt they would have to raise the line rental cost to pay for it and people like myself who doesnt really care if i get an itemised bill will be paying for it too

with regards to the free voicemail you could hang up before it gets to that, most voicemails kick in after 5 rings, so dial the number if no-one answers hang up.
