afaik there is no option to choose analogue/digital for the pc, as the card automatically outputs digital, which is why you need the DVI/VGA adapter to plug into the VGA socket on your monitor.

It sounds like the pc DVI socket is ok, as it works with the VGA adapter, but no picture using a DVI cable suggests a problem with the cable, or the DVI socket on the monitor?

I'm using mine with an ATI9800se & IIRC when I changed to using the DVI connector on the monitor, it detected it automatically when I booted up???
