Re: Msi 7600gs

This is the problem i'm up against...
http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...idia-vga/zm80d
* nVidia AGP 6600LE and 6600GT owners - Please note that the ZM80D-HP is not compatible with this graphics card. The reason for the incompatibility is because the GPU has been rotated 45° in order to incorporate the HSI chip. Please consider the VF700 and check the compatibility links. This does not affect the PCI-E version of the 6600LE or the 6600GT because that card does not include a HSI chip.

and then not only is the VF700 not silent, but you have this too...

2. Disadvantages
1) After the VF700 is installed on a GeForce 6600 GT AGP, the cooler's FHS sticks out of the circuit board by about 30mm. This may cause interference with the system case and/or other components. 2) Because the GeForce 6600 GT AGP's chipset is located towards the top area of the board unlike the PCIe version, installation of the cooler may be structurally unstable.
Even the V1's not compatible...
6600
PCI-e
Yes
AGP
NO
High-Speed Interconnect bridge chip not covered in cooling solution

All the others have fans which will get noisy and/or need cleaning...
