It's worth looking at today's thread - "TV Drive Installed Yesterday" to prepare ourselves for the usual disasters that come with NTL and new installations.
My experiences include -
"Sorry, mate, I need someone to hold my ladder - not you as you're not employed by NTL. Two of us will be back another day."
"They didn't tell me you had a drive."
"It's not working now, but it will an hour after I've left."
"I've only got twenty minutes allotted to the job, so you'll have to make do."
Yet I want one of these PVRs so am prepared to have the associated problems as long as they last no more than 24 hours and are resolved.
At least I'm not dealing with TalkTalk !!
