Re: Trying to install a new graphics card

The way I tend to do it:

1) Goto GFX properties in Device Manager
2) Update drivers and choose yourself, Standard VGA Driver
3) Restart
4) Uninstall Nvidia drivers and use Forceware Remover or Detonator Destroyer to remove all remnants (search Google for either)
5) Shutdown
6) Install new GFX card
7) Power on
8) Install new GFX card drivers
9) Restart

Should be good to go.
