Trying to install a new graphics card

I got a new Graphics card ( x800xt extreme edition) to replace my fx5900xt.

I know you said get the x1950 zing but just cant afford that one right now and got this one at a good deal.

Now the problem.
I uninstalled all the nvidia drivers, powered down, took out the 5900 and inserted the x800. Booted up ok and installed xtreme-g drivers....all went ok but i could not access the ati control panel.

So i uninstalled all ati drivers to install the drivers from Ati site, Upon rebooting i can see the bios, i can see the the windows loading page and when it goes to the desktop my monitor just goes black.

This is with a crt monitor cause my TFT just isnt seeing anything. It should see it when and if i get the proper drivers installed again.

Any suggestions ??
