Thanks ubermik my subnet is a 255.255.248 my router hasn't worked since last week. Connecting the modem to the pc was fine, as was the pc to the router, but connecting the router to the modem no chance. I was just about to give up on the router and its only two weeks old, when i read this so thanks alot.
