another little point if it does rely on registry entries on installed machine you could hunt them out of the registry(easy enough) and export them to file add this to whatever media you are going to use and simply import them into other machines

Thanks for that mate, the install folder comes in at 905 mb, gonna try and install to a usb 2 gig hdd.

Well that failed miserably
if I click on the prog icon in the install folder I get an error saying ' an attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format'
Any suggestions, as I said before, this is more just a case of 'if possible' it's not a big deal
