I don't like AV software, it uses far too much I/O activity up and causes CPDN to slow down, which I want the max speed out of it. It also slows down the speed of my HDD's as the buffer is being used all the time (which can be bad in games). |
It may slow your pc down a little bit but a virus will slow it down even more
Just install one and do a manual scan once a week like Matt said, at least that way we'll stop moaning at you for not running one at all
Sometimes it's better to be careful and have the tools to hand than to get caught out and have no way of getting access to the help you need
