I put in a similar setup in a local Hotel so that guests would be able to access the Internet without direct access to the Hotel office PCs.

Phone Line---Netgear Wireless ADSL Router
.....................|.................................................. ....|
...............|Netgear Wireless Cable/DSL Router|......|Office PCs|
.......................................|
...............................|Guest Laptops|

And it works really well.
