Hi everyone.

I'm having a little trouble with my new router. I'm not a total computer fool, but there are some areas which completely confuse me, and networking comes top of this list. The guy at the shop said this was so easy to set up, just stick the CD in and it will do it all for you - I knew deep down this would not be the case.

Now, I am getting as far as where it refuses to automatically detect my settings and asks me to put them in manually...

How do I find out such things as:
My host name and domain name
local IP address
subnet mask (I think I know this one: 255.255255.0 - right?)
Static DNS 1, 2 and 3
and the other settings that it asks e for?

I am sorry as I know that this will have all been asked a million times before, but I have searched the forums and can't quite find the info I am looking for. If anyone can be of any help I will be extremely grateful!
