I emailed ntl today asking about the release date for the TVdrive. I recieved a very speedy reply that for once was not the standard 'early 2007' fob off they said they'd checked my Postcode (which is PO9) and that the release date for my area was 23rd January. They suggested that i phone sales and I should be able to pre book
. So ever hopeful I rang sales and spoke to a man who was very friendly but wasn't really able to help. He was surprised I'd been told about a release date and said that he hadn't been trained yet and that the software wasn't capable of taking bookings yet. He did take my phone number and promised to phone me when booking became avaliable, so I will have to wait and see if he does
If anybody on the bromley platform manages to make a booking for the tvdrive, please post and let us know
