If you don't want the firewall, you could have tried Kaspersky Anti Virus rather than Kaspersky Internet Security. As I said previously, it's a personal choice. NOD32 is a very good anti-virus and it will be interesting to see how you get on with it.

I'm not running the Internet Security Version, only the anti-virus, I would stick with it but i'm getting fed up with it telling me that Firefox is ilegally accessing the registry etc, stuff like that. Even when you tell it to "put this application in the trusted zone" it flags the same thing up again when the same conditon happens with slighty different parameters, i.e. your trying to view "abc.pdf" when you'd already ok'ed the viewing of "123.pdf" earlier.
IfI could clear this up, i'd stick with Kaspersky, if only because I like the UI better that NOD32
