I'm picking up a Linksys WRT54G after work, and I'm very tempted to flash the firmware provided it's a fairly old model (getting it from PC World cause it's cheaper than everywhere else
but they don't do the WRT54GL sadly
)
Anyway, assuming that it's not the latest version I get, which firmware do people recommend using? I won't go with Sveasoft, as I don't agree with them charging $20 p/year for something that should really be free under the GPL. Should I go with dd-wrt, openwrt, tomato, etc...?
Anyone with any thoughts? TIA
