Re: Call charges

There used to be a 5p plan (5p for an hour evenings and weekends) for the same price as Talk Weekends but that is no longer available to customers.

As you say, you would be better off with BT (unless you have some NTL bundle with reduced line rental).

Alternatively, there are some companies that offer cheaper calls via NTL phone lines (I am sure others will be able to step in to help here) but even in that case you would still be better off using those companies via a BT line.
