Hi, I'm in Belfast and just called sales - was told that TVDrive had been delayed until "early next year". Then called CS and was told that installation is available from today - was taken through the sign up process and given an installation date of next Wednesday.
Am a little concerned about all the negative comments regarding the TVDrive box - as a long standing Tivo user I'm used to well, the Tivo experience. Should I be concerned? Also not sure whether or not to hang on to the existing box (in case I want to go back to my current setup).
Oh and to add to the worries, the CS guy apologized in advance for technical problems regarding On Demand features. No big deal since I don't use them much, but it doesn't bode well for the reliability in general
Anyway if you're in N. Ireland try CS today. Will report back next Wednesday...
