I don't think you can properly rate the younger players coming through like Richardson and Rossi until they get a proper run in the first team. When the likes of Beckham, Neville, Butt and Scholes came through the youth team they were being written off straight away. The qutoe 'You never win anything with kids' comes to mind  It's difficult for any player with a bit part in a team to show how good they actually are. |
The trouble with that is Rossi and Richardson didn't actually come through from your youth team did they
