Paul Reynolds the CEO of BT Wholesale is quoted as saying "I really donÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t see a business case for widespread FTTH. It is not immediately apparent where the incremental revenue would come from that investment."

Looks like the unbundled operators will have to stump up the cash to put fibre into the local loop.
