I have never ever had a call back from normal NTL faults, they just say that to get you off the line but have no intention to pass the message up to a supervisor/manager.

I can guess who you spoke to from NTL executive office (it won't have been the CEO!), as it took his intervention to bump heads together in the lower ranks of NTL - he got my phone working in the summer but the bills and compensation have still never been completely resolved. He does always phone back and I am not going to betray his trust to post his email address and phone number on an open forum so it would be best to get your original contact back via the mods of this forum.
