Email alert from text on web page?

Hi guys and gals, I've searched the forum (and internet) for all the words in the title but, of course, couldn't find the needle in the haystack. So apologies in advance if this has already been answered...

I would like to have a simple application running on my computer that periodically checks selected web pages for key words, and sends an email when the words are found. For example, I might ask it to look at a page on the London Underground site, and send me an email if the the text "delays on the northen line" was found.

I'm often travelling, and often use a combination of rail, underground, air, etc. Rather than having to keep an eye on several web sites, the application would only alert me if there was a problem on sections of the route that were specified in advance.

I have a Win2K server always on (in the garage), and keep my cable modem and router switched on all the time. Just need a bit of code, that's all...
