woohoo! I love this lot. freecycle. yes, you do get a fair few messages a day - but you never know what you might spy going for free, or someone might post asking for something, and you realise 'I really can't be bothered to list it on ebay / take to carboot and just get £5 for it...'
I had a load of wedding magazines sitting in a pile, and I thought 'these cost a fortune and they're just gathering dust' - someone came round that afternoon - within an hour of me listing them!
I signed up to Milton Keynes, Bedford, and of course Luton. MK and Bedford get a lot more action than Luton, but today I had to ask for a pc monitor, and lo and behold, minutes later I have an offer and I'm going to pick it up on saturday!
