The +1 channels are superb for those of us who remember that it used to be free to watch one channel while videoing another and have no wish to line $ky's pockets by subscribing to their 'service'.
We can no longer watch and tape but at least there is some chance of catching up with stuff by time shifting. TBH I'd be more interested in a +1 service from the BBC though.
