funny noone said "Install Linux", a livecd is simply another tool to help find and fix the person's computer problems or to rule out their hardware/software as the problem, this case seems to be NTL:tw cache related.

if it was as quick and easy for your average new user to use a windows livecd then id be telling them to use that instead, but you cant just download a ready made windows livecd and need to have all your software cd/dvd burner and enough PC experience to make your own from scratch.

it wasnt aimed at you AntiSilence, but mearly to show that today, even somone on a budget can infact get these things real easy, its also clear that your better getting a DVD writer today as the extra cost is small yet far better in the long run
