i have this installed on my pc, but before i had norton. when using the file transfer in msn messenger, norton would automatically scan for threats. but every time now someone tries to send me something it says virus scan failed. check tools and file transfer. on doing that i noticed that "myprogs/norton etc" was still in the path to scan stuff, so i pressed browse to find avg double clicked on that and am wondering with part of it i should click on to make it scan files. i found avg scan.exe and clicked on that, it scanned something and let it through, a little black box came up in the corner with command line yiykes that looked scary and went so quick i couldnt see what it said!! do you think i did the right thing?
