If you can get hold of one of the earlier versions of the WRT54G then grab one! (Try ebay)
However if you buy a new one then you will no doubt get a Version 7.
To be honest I am looking for a new one myself and I am not sure which one to get. If anyone can point out a good wireless router that has good coverage then you will no doubt be helping us both out!
