just had a breif read through the above and came to conclusion that norton is not a good program to have on pc!? unfortunatly i knew and still know very little about pc's and i've got norton 2006 installed and find that with all the Symantec things my pc seems slow for what the processor is pentium 4 3.06 ghz.

Basically rambling now but does norton really slow a pc down and if so as subscription nearly over what would be the best thing to replace it with??
