The number of single-sex state schools has fallen from nearly 2,500 to just over 400 in 40 years.
In England there are 183 boys-only state secondary schools and 229 girls-only ones. In Scotland there are only two state-funded all-girls schools and none for boys.

i'm struggling to find the stats but it would seem there is only one all girl muslim secondary - near you in fact. Feversham in Bradford. There seems to be about 100 independent Muslim faith schools all told. Still looking for state ones.
edit - of those 100 schools, five receive state funding.
