It used to be the case that you could tell the DTT-sourced channels because they were the ones that used DVB subtitles (as Sky don't support these). I don't know whether this is still true though.
Channel Five is taken from Crystal Palace, not the local Transmitters, theres no local adverts on C5 DTT.
Theres a few others they also take from DTT such as ftn, and at least one Music Channel. S4C and S4C2 in Wales are also taken from DTT.
